Boat Trips

At Maltalingua, boat trips organised through trusted local providers are among the most popular activities chosen by our students. These excursions give you a chance to experience Malta from the sea, enjoy time with classmates and discover some of the islands’ most beautiful locations. Many students say these trips are among their most memorable experiences during their stay.

Full-Day Boat Tours

We regularly help students join full-day boat tours that travel along Malta’s coastline and around the island of Comino. Depending on the route, you may pass historic watchtowers, hidden coves and open bays before anchoring near some of Malta’s most famous swimming spots. Students often enjoy relaxing on deck, taking photos and making new friends as the boat cruises between destinations.

The Blue Lagoon

A favourite highlight for many is a visit to the world-famous Blue Lagoon, where the water is clear and inviting for a swim. These trips are a great way to experience Malta’s coastline from a different perspective and enjoy time with your classmates in a relaxed setting.

The Blue Grotto

Another popular excursion is to the Blue Grotto on Malta’s south coast. Here, you can board a traditional Maltese boat operated by experienced local captains and take a short tour of dramatic sea caves. In the largest cave, the sunlight reflects off the seabed, turning the water an intense shade of blue – a sight you are unlikely to forget.

These trips are arranged through the school’s activities desk and provided by external operators. Availability and schedules may vary throughout the year, so we recommend checking details with our team when you arrive. They will be happy to explain the options, prices and what to bring along for the day.
