The Standard English course is designed to improve general English communication skills and to help develop a comprehensive understanding of the English language. Suitable for participants who aim to devote half their day to improving their English, the course runs at all levels from Beginner (A1) to Advanced (C1) and starts every Monday.
All Levels Welcome
From Beginner (A1) to Advanced (C1). You'll be placed in the right class from day one, with regular progress monitoring and level changes as you improve.
20 Lessons per Week
Three hours per day, Monday to Friday. The perfect balance for those who want structured learning alongside time to explore Malta.
Small Groups
Classes of no more than 12 students allow teachers to focus on individual needs while benefiting from group dynamics and peer interaction.
Flexible Duration
No fixed time limit — attend for as long as you need. Most students find 2–4 weeks is a great starting point, though many stay much longer.

Take our free online test before you arrive so you start in the right class from day one. You'll also be interviewed on arrival.
Add Private Lessons
Combine your group course with 1–2 private lessons per day, tailor-made to your personal goals and schedule.
The curriculum covers all four skills — listening, reading, speaking and writing — alongside grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. The main focus is fluency and real-world communication, giving you practical English you can use from day one.
