First School Day | On your first day, please come to the school for the welcome programme which starts at 8:00 on Monday morning. If it is public holiday in Malta on a Monday you will be expected to arrive the same time the following day. |

Materials for lessons | Please bring a notebook and a pen with you. All other materials will be provided. |
Public holidays | Please note that the school is closed on public holidays (https://www.maltalingua.com/prices/#tabs-467) . Maltalingua will try to make up for lost teaching time. |

Insurance | Please ensure you have adequate travel and health insurance (including Covid-19 cover) and bring your medical insurance card or and any relevant documentation. |

Doctor | Please ask us for the details of a trusted doctor. The charge for a private visit is around 20-25 euro. |
Taxi transfers | Please ask us for the details of our trusted taxi company. |
Bus routes | There are several buses which you can use to get around Malta. You can buy your ticket directly from the bus driver. Bus stops are only a few minutes away on the seafront of St. Julian’s and Sliema. |
Supermarkets | Supermarkets are open Monday – Sunday until about 19:30. Times may vary on Sundays. There are various supermarkets such as Welbees in Park Towers (next to the school) Lidl (Sliema) all within short walking distance from the school. |
ATM | The closest ATM cash machine (BOV) is in Balluta Bay down the hill from St. Julian’s Bay Court apartments. There are also some in Spinola Bay near McDonald's. |
Pharmacy | The closest pharmacy is the St Julian’s Bay Pharmacy next to the Welbees supermarket (next to the school). To check which pharmacies are open on Saturday afternoon, Sunday, and Bank Holidays, please check https://www.pharmacy.com.mt/roster/. |
