Useful information  

Here is some information that you might find useful:  

Placement test
On your first Monday, please come to the school for the welcome programme which starts at 8:00 on Monday morning.
Materials for lessons
Please bring a notebook and a pen with you. All other materials will be provided.
Public holidays
Please note that the school is closed on public holidays. Maltalingua will try to make up for lost teaching time.

Please ask us for the details of a trusted doctor. The charge for a  private visit is around 20-25 euro.

Bus routes
There are several buses which you can use to get around Malta. You can buy your ticket directly from the bus driver. Bus stops are only a few minutes away on the seafront of St. Julian’s and Sliema.
Supermarkets are open Monday – Sunday until about 19:30. Times may vary on Sundays. There are various supermarkets such as Park Tower and Scott’s all within short walking distance from the school.
The closest ATM cash machine (BOV) is in Balluta Bay down the hill  from St. Julian’s Bay Court apartments. There are also some in Spinola Bay near McDonald's.

The closest pharmacy is the St Julian’s Bay Pharmacy next to the Park Towers supermarket complex (behind the school).
On Sundays, the pharmacy at the airport is open for  emergencies  from 7:30 until 22:00
