Arrival Details for Adults - Student Zone

Please read over the following important arrival information:

First School Day
On your first day, please come to the school for the welcome programme which starts at 8:00 on Monday morning. If it is a public holiday in Malta on a Monday you will be expected to arrive at the same time the following day.
Materials for lessons
Please bring a notebook and a pen with you. All other materials will be provided.
Public holidays
Please note that the school is closed on public holidays. Maltalingua will try to make up for lost teaching time.

Insurance
Please ensure you have adequate travel and health insurance (including COVID-19 coverage) and bring your medical insurance card and any relevant documentation.

Bus routes
You can buy your ticket directly from the bus driver, make sure you have the exact change or card.
Supermarkets
Supermarkets are open Monday – Sunday until about 19:30. Times may vary on Sundays. There are various supermarkets such as Welbees in Park Towers (next to the school) and Lidl (Sliema) all within short walking distance from the school.
ATM
The closest ATM cash machine (BOV) is in Balluta Bay down the hill from St. Julian’s Bay Court apartments. There are also some in Spinola Bay near McDonald's.
Pharmacy

The closest pharmacy is the St Julian’s Bay Pharmacy next to the Welbees supermarket (next to the school). To check which pharmacies are open on Saturday afternoons, Sundays, and Bank Holidays, please check the pharmacy roster.
